Ideally placed in a peaceful location, with good access to all amenities including railway. We were visiting the 'Real ale rail train' which is on the northern railway line, and we were situated very well in this respect. The walking is excellent, and we noticed a few cyclists along the canal bank. The locals were very welcoming too.

The area has been regenerated due to cleaning and restoring the canal which has brought tourists to this beautiful countryside with its facinating history. The village and neighbouring villages aboud with delightful stone cottages.

The cottage was very comfortable and clean, the location was excellent and Marsden and the surrounding areas had plenty to keep us busy.

It is in a beautiful area with easy access to places to walk with a dog, also a nice and handy local pub with food, but also near enough to get to places if you need to.
